Top 3 Unusual Places to Buy Prom Dresses
By Ayanna Williams
It’s almost every girl’s dream to attend prom. Whether you choose to have a date or go solo, we still want to look cute and stand out. While shopping for dresses in-store may be out of style because online shopping is the new thing, that can cause problems. Any guesses? There’s a chance you can walk into prom in the same dress as your schoolmate and that is not every girl’s dream, right?
I’ve put together a guide where you can find affordable and unique dresses to slay at your junior or senior prom.
1. Amazon
Amazon offers two-day shipping for Prime members, so if you’re a person that’s last-minute this is the perfect site for you. There is also a “Try Before You Buy” program that allows you to try on clothing before you purchase it at no cost.
2. Etsy
If you’re trying to be “that girl” at prom, I would suggest shopping at Etsy if you wanted a luxury experience on a budget. You can shop for one-of-a-kind handmade dresses or request custom pieces.
3. thredUP
Thrift shopping… but online! thredUp is an online thrift shop that allows you to shop and sell used items. You can find designer dresses like Burberry, Gucci, Fendi, etc. for a discounted price.
