Black History Month Feature: Courageous Conversations

By NaTyshca Pickett

One primary motivation for highlighting Black businesses is to address historical and systemic inequality in economic possibilities. Throughout history, Black entrepreneurs have encountered discrimination, limited access to financing, and unequal commercial possibilities. By aggressively featuring and supporting Black businesses, we help to address these inequities and promote economic fairness. This recognition contributes to the breakdown of barriers and the creation of a more inclusive business climate, helping Black entrepreneurs to gain attention, grow, and succeed.

For this feature, I present to you Courageous Conversations with Denise TrimbleSmith.

Courageous Conversations provides a platform for individuals, families, teams, and groups of all sizes to engage in open and honest exchanges, facilitating the resolution of sensitive and challenging topics through collective courage. Denise TrimbleSmith, the visionary force behind Courageous Conversations, ignites transformative change through personalized life coaching and dynamic events that ignite corporate innovation and embolden individuals to unleash their true potential.

At the very core of “Courageous Conversations” lies an unwavering commitment to fostering meaningful dialogue. We believe in the transformative power of conversation—a catalyst capable of bridging gaps, fostering profound understanding, and, above all, igniting positive change in the world.
