Black History Month Feature: Hunni Butter Bakery

By NaTyshca Pickett

One primary motivation for highlighting Black businesses is to address historical and systemic inequality in economic possibilities. Throughout history, Black entrepreneurs have encountered discrimination, limited access to financing, and unequal commercial possibilities. By aggressively featuring and supporting Black businesses, we help to address these inequities and promote economic fairness. This recognition contributes to the breakdown of barriers and the creation of a more inclusive business climate, helping Black entrepreneurs to gain attention, grow, and succeed.

For this feature, I present to you Hunni Butter Bakery.

Hunnie Butter Bakery is a small family business owned and operated by husband and wife team Jonathan & Jasmine. We are located in Phoenix, AZ but are proud Los Angeles natives. We met 10 years ago at a bakery and have been on the same team ever since!

Our passion for culinary arts, impeccable attention to detail, and customer-centric business ethics have helped us mold Hunnie Butter into what she is today.

So what's with the name? Our oldest daughter is named Hunter, and Jonathan sometimes calls her "Hunnie"...and well butter because that's one of our main ingredients here LOL! We are looking forward to meeting you and welcoming you into our family!

You must try these amazing treats. Get on over to Hunni Butter Bakery NOW and pick up your goodies! Follow them on TikTok and Instagram to show your support.
