Black History Month Feature: Michelle and Hair

By NaTyshca Pickett

One primary motivation for highlighting Black businesses is to address historical and systemic inequality in economic possibilities. Throughout history, Black entrepreneurs have encountered discrimination, limited access to financing, and unequal commercial possibilities. By aggressively featuring and supporting Black businesses, we help to address these inequities and promote economic fairness. This recognition contributes to the breakdown of barriers and the creation of a more inclusive business climate, helping Black entrepreneurs to gain attention, grow, and succeed.

For this feature, I present to you Michelle, owner of Michelle and Hair, also known as MAH.

Michelle Anderson, a caring mother and great stylist, has demonstrated her ability to balance it all. Michelle chose to boost her business in 2018 by filling a need for many Arizonans — she stepped up to meet an urgent demand when she invented a dependable edge control, currently known as 'MichelleAndHair's Edge Smoother'.

Michelle's new product has quickly become a best-seller among her local clients, including those from her hometown.

Feeling the joyful atmosphere fostered by her customers' encouraging feedback, Michelle has now established her hair-extension brand, which offers gorgeous, yet inexpensive hair for women of various cultural backgrounds. Michelle is a passionate and accomplished woman who has only just begun to make an impact on the beauty world.

If you’re in need of a hair maven, Michelle is the one you want to go to! Be sure to follow her on Instagram and book that appoinment with MAH TODAY!
