Black History Month Feature: Kurnita Wallace

By NaTyshca Pickett

One primary motivation for highlighting Black businesses is to address historical and systemic inequality in economic possibilities. Throughout history, Black entrepreneurs have encountered discrimination, limited access to financing, and unequal commercial possibilities. By aggressively featuring and supporting Black businesses, we help to address these inequities and promote economic fairness. This recognition contributes to the breakdown of barriers and the creation of a more inclusive business climate, helping Black entrepreneurs to gain attention, grow, and succeed.

For this feature, I present to you Kurnita Wallace, The Self Care Coach.

Kurnita Wallace, the self-care coach, has been educating people on the benefits of having a good skincare routine, massage therapy, and laser hair removal for two decades.

She is passionate about making sure everyone puts themselves first. Wallace's specialties are "feel-good facials" and laser hair removal for people of color.

She can be found at her location 3020 N. Scottsdale Rd Ste A., Scottsdale, AZ 85251.
